**Data Engineer - SQL**

**Location**: Doha, Qatar
**Salary**: QAR 12,000-15,000 (Full Package)
**Contract**: 6 Months (Extendable)

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, maintain, and optimize databases in **Azure SQL and SQL Server**.
- Write, refine, and troubleshoot advanced **T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions**.
- Analyze execution plans, implement indexing strategies, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure data accuracy by validating query outputs against business requirements.
- Manage **backups, security configurations, and user access controls**.
- Leverage **Power BI** for data analysis and reporting.
- Document database structures, configurations, and performance improvements.
- Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting tools for proactive database management.
- Implement security and compliance measures across database environments.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders for seamless integration.
- Use **Git & Azure DevOps** for version control and best practices in development.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 5-6 years of **SQL development experience** with advanced T-SQL and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in **Azure SQL and SQL Server administration**.
- Strong ability to debug and optimize complex queries and functions.
- Experience using **Git for source control** and team collaboration.
- Attention to detail and commitment to clear documentation.
- **Basic reading and understanding of Arabic is preferred.**

Pay: QAR15,000.00 - QAR17,000.00 per month
