**Job Purpose**:
The Inventory Controller & Maintenance Lead is responsible for supervising the Inventory, Maintenance and Drivers team and managing the organization’s inventory levels by monitoring incoming and outgoing products. This role includes maintaining inventory levels, making financial inventory reports and maintaining accurate records.

**Principal Accountabilities**:
Inventory:

- Performing critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock.
- Managing all stock movements in and out, and maintaining complete log of all stock.
- Reviewing documentation and monitoring product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records.
- Responding to sales inquiries and purchase orders; collecting and analyzing data to determine appropriate order quantities; process orders for shipmentmovement to ensure stocks are tallied with the transfer documents
- Tracking rates of purchase and return as well as defective items to inform management in quality control decisions.
- Generating financial inventory reports; reviewing reports monthly with management.
- Ensuring that all inventory and stock management systems are maintained and updated accurately, and within the agreed parameters.
- Receiving ordered products and confirming that delivered goods match purchase order specifications of quantity, condition, product number etc.; completing all necessary paperwork for stock items received.
- Maintaining the storeroom and the allocation of space for stock; ensures the storeroom meets defined regulations

Maintenance:

- Coordinating daily cleaning, repair work and maintenance activities to ensure that work is completed on time, safe and effective.
- Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

- Overseeing work of inventory, maintenance and drivers team.
- Working with Operations Coordinator to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies and assess skills needed to complete tasks.
- Scheduling deliveries into the daily drivers schedule; back-up for Operations Coordinator in preparing the daily drivers schedule.
- Addressing minor discipline problems with team members; referring more serious cases to Operations Coordinator.
- Assisting with the planning and preparation of training and orientation for new team members.
- Keeping track of working hours of the team and checking timesheets before submitting to HR.

- A solid understanding of building maintenance, repairs and cleaning.

**Qualifications**_: _
- 3+ years of experience in the Retail industry with planning & organizing, problem solving and decision-making.
- Education in Commerce & Administration, Diploma in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
