We are seeking qualified **linguists and interpreting professionals** for a long-term U.S. State Department position in **Saudi Arabia**.

**Scope of Work Includes**:

- Translating course materials (English ↔ Arabic)
- Live classroom interpreting (spoken Gulf Arabic ↔ English)
- Simultaneous & consecutive interpretation at:

- Private meetings
- Conferences & public events
- Voice-over translation for U.S. government audio/video content

**Linguist Qualifications**:
**For Native Arabic Speakers**:

- Saudi Secondary Education Diploma or equivalent
- Interpreter/translator training certificate

**For Non-Native Arabic Speakers**:

- Bachelor’s in Arabic Language Studies
- Native-level fluency in Arabic
- Certified interpreter/translator training

**All Applicants Must Have**:

- English proficiency (Level 3 Professional) - supported by certification
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in interpretation/translation
- Strong cultural awareness (Middle Eastern & American contexts)
- Basic MS Word & Outlook proficiency
- Eligibility to obtain Saudi security clearance (Saudi nationals preferred)

**Business Requirements**:

- Must be authorized to operate in Saudi Arabia
- Must have or be working toward a Saudi commercial registration
- Required to provide:

- Status of licensing steps
- Expected timeline for registration
- Plans to handle risks (e.g., visa delays, legal compliance)
