**DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT**is looking for **Joinery Draftsman Coordinator**in **Doha-Qatar**

**Project Duration**: 1 Year

**Project Site Location**:Industrial Area

**MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED**:

- Proven experience minimum 6 years as a Joinery + Fitout Draughtsman Coordinator.
- Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or similar tools.
- **Strong understanding of joinery and fitout construction methods, materials, and manufacturing processes.**:

- Excellent technical drawing skills with a keen eye for detail and precision.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and regulations related to joinery and millwork.
- Ability to create accurate and clear 2D and 3D drawings and models.
- Familiarity with joinery production techniques and machinery.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
- **PORTFOLIO should be attached. Applications without portfolio WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED**

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to take Design concepts and prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings, shop drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software for Joinery and Fitout including furniture, cabinetry, wall panelling, and custom fixtures.
- Ensure that joinery designs comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Create detailed material schedules, including quantities and specifications for joinery + fitout components.
- Coordinate with the team and to provide clear instructions and guidance based on the drawings and specifications.
- Review design drawings and shop drawings to identify potential design or constructability issues and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with client to select appropriate materials and hardware for joinery and fitout projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends, joinery techniques, and new materials to propose innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of design changes, revisions, and project updates.
- Taking ownership of the project and deliverables.
