**Key Responsibilities**:
**Litigation**:

- Represent clients in criminal and civil court cases, ensuring thorough preparation and strategic case management.
- Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and develop case strategies.
- Engage in settlement negotiations, mediation, and arbitration when necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.

**Contracts**:

- Review, draft, and redraft various types of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and protecting the interests of the organization.
- Provide legal advice on contractual matters, including risk assessment and mitigation.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate contract terms and conditions.
- Ensure that all contracts align with the organizations commercial objectives and legal standards.

**Ministries & Government Relations**:

- Act as a legal advisor in interactions with government ministries and regulatory bodies.
- Prepare and submit legal documents and reports required by governmental authorities.
- Monitor and interpret legislative and regulatory changes affecting the organizations operations.

**Commercial Law**:

- Provide legal counsel on commercial transactions, corporate governance, and business operations.
- Assist in developing and implementing legal policies and procedures to support the organizations commercial activities.
- Advise on compliance matters related to commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other business arrangements.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university; a Masters degree (LLM) or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in litigation, contract management, and commercial law.
- Proven experience in handling criminal and civil litigation cases.
- Prior experience working with government ministries or public sector organizations is highly desirable.
- Strong background in contract law, with extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
