Senior Interior Designer / Fit Out (Minimum 5+ years’ experience in interior design)

**Job Purpose**

The Senior Interior Designer is responsible for developing the design to detail and to produce all necessary detailed construction drawings, diagrams specifications and schedules etc to enable the building contractor to carry out the work to a satisfactory standard.

**Responsibilities**

Sketch preliminary design plans, including electrical layouts.
- Visualize & create design concepts and explain it to client.
- Specify materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures.
- Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs.
- Prepares reports and specifications; including review of reports, plans, cost estimates and calculations.
- Finalize mood boards - a collection of suitable images, colours and materials.
- Preparing Bills of quantity.
- Attend regular meetings with clients, contractors and other specialists
- Oversee the building contract and to monitor the work in terms of quality, progress and costs as closely as is reasonably possible.
- Pay attention to environmental and sustainable issues and where possible to incorporate energy saving technologies into design specification.
- Design new buildings, restore and conserve old buildings and developing new ways of using existing buildings.

Strong customer service and problem solving skills, including the ability to provide diligent, prompt and courteous responses to users’ and questions and technical issues.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Creative and innovative with analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability maintain a calm poise during stressful situations.
- Excellent attention to details
- Can work under pressure while being highly productive
- Language: - English (required), - Arabic (advantage)

**Qualifications and Experience**

Advanced In computer software such as 3D MAX with V-ray, AutoCAD (2D), Adobe Photoshop (latest Editions).

The ability to produce shop Drawings & detailing of all Interior design field from floor to ceiling.

Have knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical & lighting design and calculation.

Must be proficient in / or knowledgeable in material type and specifications of finishes.

A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design

Pay: QAR15,000.00 - QAR18,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

- 3D MAX with V-ray (required)
