**SENIOR PLANNING ENGINEER**
- Minimum requirements:_
- Should have more than 10 years of related experience
- With a Mechanical Engineering degree
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycle, especially in offshore structural fabrication
- Skilled in MS Excel, MS Project, and other planning and reporting tools
- Knowledge of resource loading and delay analysis techniques
- Familiarity with fabrication yard operations, offshore structures, and heavy module assembly
- Prior experience with offshore module fabrication, jackets, topsides, decks, and associated heavy structures is an added advantage
- Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision under tight deadlines
- Basic cost awareness
- Experience with an international EPC contractor is a plus
- Must have Middle East experience (familiarity with the Qatar market is a plus)
- Only Freelancer will be accepted
- Must be locally available in Qatar
- A holder of a valid QID for at least 6 months before the expiration
- Can join immediately
- Key responsibilities, but not limited to:_
- Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules (Level 1 to Level 4) using Primavera P6.
- Develop baseline schedules, monitor project progress, and perform regular updates.
- Integrate engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction activities into unified master schedule.
- Conduct resource loading, manpower forecasting, and productivity analysis.
- Coordinate with engineering and fabrication teams to align deliverables and milestones.
- Monitor critical path activities and provide early warnings to mitigate project delays.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports, including S-Curves, Earned Value Analysis (EVA), and progress charts.
- Conduct schedule risk analysis and participate in schedule optimization efforts.
- Support planning input for proposals, including man-hour estimates and project timelines.
- Ensure full compliance with client requirements, project specifications, and planning procedures.
- Lead planning meetings and participate in client-facing progress reviews.
- Identify and record project variations, potential delays, and support claims management processes.
- Assist in the preparation of recovery plans for slippages and maintain delay analysis records.
