Fish Grill Supervisor

**Job Overview**:
As a Fish Grill Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the grill section, ensuring that all seafood dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation. You will manage kitchen staff, maintain a clean and efficient work environment, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for seafood cuisine, and attention to detail.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Supervision of Grill Operations**: Oversee the grilling and preparation of fish and other seafood, ensuring dishes are cooked according to recipes and customer specifications.
- **Staff Management**: Train, mentor, and supervise grill staff to maintain a high standard of performance and efficiency.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure all seafood is fresh and of high quality before preparation, and that each dish meets presentation standards.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grilling area, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor stock levels of fish and grilling ingredients, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment.
- **Customer Satisfaction**: Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues regarding food quality or service.
- **Menu Development**: Collaborate with chefs to develop new seafood grill dishes and specials, focusing on fresh, seasonal ingredients.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience as a Grill Supervisor or similar role in a seafood restaurant.
- Strong understanding of seafood preparation techniques, particularly grilling.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and scheduling.
**Preferred**:
- Culinary certification or training in seafood cuisine is a plus
- Experience with menu planning and development.
