Diesel Mechanic

Now Hiring: Diesel Mechanic (Automobile Technician) Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic (Automobile Technician) to join our team supporting Oil & Gas operations in Ras Laffan.

Key Responsibilities
: ✔ Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on heavy vehicles, cranes, trucks, forklifts, generators, and air compressors. ✔ Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems using computer-based diagnostic tools. ✔ Carry out maintenance according to OEM recommendations and company procedures. ✔ Inspect equipment, identify faults, and ensure safe and reliable operation. ✔ Maintain workshop cleanliness and comply with all HSE and Permit to Work (PTW) requirements. ✔ Assist with site and workshop maintenance activities as directed. Requirements: ✔ Secondary School Certificate with a 2-year Automobile Diploma/Certificate from a recognized institute. ✔ Valid Qatari Light Vehicle Driving License. ✔ Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles and industrial equipment in Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical industries. ✔ Experience with cranes (Grove & Terex), commercial trucks (Scania, MAN, Mercedes), forklifts, diesel generators, and air compressors. ✔ Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel engine, and electronic systems. ✔ Experience using computerized diagnostic software. ✔ PTW Level 1 certification or ability to obtain it.
