**Civil Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities**:

- Maximize project margin and add value to the construction process by proactively being involved in managing planning, procurement, cost management, Quantity take-off, and reporting. To drive the best value from suppliers and subcontractors
- Verify drawings issued for construction (IFC) for every newly awarded project by conducting thorough review, comparison and evaluation of all the items in the IFC drawings and tender drawings in order to raise to the Project Management any inconsistency or discrepancy which might affect the budget cost of the project
- Certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts
- Assist in preparation and adherence to project purchasing targeting and costing budgets
- Set Quantities of Material Requirements by thoroughly quantifying the approved issued IFC drawings in order to identify the order placement of materials
- Identify quantities and cost of each description for every Site Instruction issued by the Client in order to incorporate the details in the Cost Proposal to the Client. Attends meeting with the Client QS/others to finalize the submitted cost proposal.

**Civil Quantity Surveyor Qualification & Requirements**:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Qauantity Survey.
- Should have atleast 10+ years of experience.
- Should Have knowledge in contracts and all contractual issues, agreements, disputes and other concerns, and General Conditions of Contract.
- Secondment letter/Work Permit is needed for **Ras Laffan Project.**

**Preferred who are ready to join immediately and available locally in Qatar.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary
