Primary Purpose of the Job:
Be part of a team providing tax advice, guidance and support in relation to investments and operations activities (mainly upstream) undertaken by QatarEnergy Group (i.e. QatarEnergy and entities managed by QatarEnergy) with a primary focus on the EMEAA region and in accordance with the applicable tax laws, regulations and circulars. Primary objective is to minimize / mitigate tax risks (both financial and reputational) for QatarEnergy Group and to optimize its tax positions where possible and appropriate.

Required Experience and Skills:
**Knowledge**:

- Expert knowledge of domestic and international tax laws is required.
- Expert knowledge of the energy sector from a tax point of view is preferred.
- **
Skills**:

- Fluent in English. Any additional language is desired.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to present in front of higher management.
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- **Experience**:

- At least 10 years of relevant experience in tax advisory dealing with domestic and international taxes including exposure to BEPS 1.0 and BEPS 2.0 implementation. Oil and gas industry experience is not a must but preferred.

Educational Qualifications:
**Qualifications**:

- BA in (Tax) Accounting or (Tax) Laws from a reputable university; or
- A recognized international professional qualification in Taxation or Accounting (ACCA, CPA, ACA, etc.).
- A Master’s degree in Taxation or Accounting is preferred.
