WSP is looking to recruit a highly skilled BIM Specialist to support the General Engineering Consultancy (GEC) project in partnership with Ashghal.

The role will focus on the implementation and coordination of Building Information Modeling (BIM) standards, processes, and deliverables across infrastructure and road-related projects in compliance with Ashghal BIM requirements.
- Lead the implementation of BIM processes on infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with Ashghal’s BIM Guidelines and project-specific BEP (BIM Execution Plan).
- Coordinate the development of BIM models across all disciplines including roads, drainage, utilities, and structures.
- Conduct regular coordination reviews and clash detection using tools such as Navisworks and Civil 3D.
- Validate BIM model accuracy, structure, and naming conventions in line with Ashghal and international standards.
- Monitor LOD (Level of Development) compliance and model performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure BIM deliverables align with ISO 19650 and Ashghal’s Asset Management and Digital Delivery requirements.
- Generate reports, drawings, visualizations, and schedules from BIM models.
- Assist in the preparation of COBie-compliant data deliverables for handover and asset management integration.
- Ensure effective use of Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms such as BIM 360 or ProjectWise
- Liaise with design consultants, site supervision teams, and client stakeholders to ensure BIM deliverables are well-coordinated and integrated.
- Attend and lead BIM coordination meetings and workshops.
- Provide BIM-related technical support, training, and upskilling sessions to internal project teams.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- At least 15 years in total experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in BIM coordination or digital delivery on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on Ashghal projects or similar public sector authorities is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
- Knowledge of Dynamo, InfraWorks, and scripting tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650, COBie standards, and Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).
