Light Engineer/ Operator

As a Light Engineer/Operator, you will play a key role in bringing our events to life through stunning lighting designs and effects. Working closely with our production team, you will be responsible for creating dynamic lighting setups that enhance the atmosphere and visual impact of each event.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Designing and programming lighting setups using a variety of equipment, including fixtures, consoles, and control systems.
- Collaborating with event planners, designers, and performers to understand their vision and requirements for lighting.
- Operating lighting equipment during rehearsals and live events to ensure seamless execution of lighting cues and effects.
- Troubleshooting technical issues and making adjustments to lighting setups as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for lighting equipment and operations.
- Maintaining inventory of lighting equipment and recommending upgrades or additions as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Light Engineer/Operator or similar role in the events industry.
- Proficiency in operating lighting consoles and control systems, such as DMX and MA Lighting.
- Strong understanding of lighting principles, color theory, and design aesthetics.
- Creativity and attention to detail in designing lighting setups that complement the theme and mood of each event.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing requirements during live events.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
- Certification or training in lighting design or operation (preferred).

**Salary**: QAR3,500.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
