**Job Title**: Senior Offshore Structural Engineer - Oil & Gas

**Location**: Qatar
**Contract Duration**: 24 Months (Extendable)
**Working Days**: 6 Days per week
**Working Hours**: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

**Salary**: QAR 20,000.00 to 22,000.00 ( All inclusive)

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure all aspects of structural engineering for greenfield/brownfield offshore modifications comply with international and company standards (Shell DEP, QatarEnergy standards, EN, ISO, API codes).
- Perform detailed engineering of offshore structures, including jackets and topside fixed platform structures.
- Handle Concept, FEED, and Detailed Engineering independently based on project scope of work.
- Prepare comment resolution sheets, technical queries, and coordinate with client for approvals.
- Conduct brownfield modification analyses, including jacket reassessment (in-place, seismic, boat impact, spectral fatigue, pushover analysis).
- Perform topside modification analyses, loadout and sea transportation studies for deck extensions/modifications, including rigging and installation sequence planning.
- Utilize SACS (mandatory) for analysis; experience in SESAM, MOSES, and STAAD Pro will be an advantage.
- Carry out miscellaneous calculations (e.g., bolted subsea clamp design, doubler plate, node plate, monorail beams, local plate checks).
- Prepare design calculations and analysis reports using Excel and Mathcad.
- Review and check detailed engineering drawings and fabrication drawings.
- Conduct offshore site surveys and prepare survey reports.
- Mentor and guide team members to deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines.
- Coordinate with clients for technical discussions, document reviews, and approvals.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural/Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 12+ years of offshore engineering experience, specific to upstream Oil & Gas facilities.
- Strong background in jackets and topside fixed platform structures.
- Proficiency in SACS (mandatory). Knowledge of SESAM, MOSES, and STAAD Pro is an advantage.
- Experience in brownfield offshore modification and structural reassessment studies.
- Familiarity with ACAD, E3D, PDS, and Navisworks for model reviews is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (Shell DEP, QatarEnergy, EN, ISO, API).
- Prior experience in site surveys, client coordination, and mentoring engineering teams.
