**Qualifications/ Skills**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 8 to 10 years of professional experience in the Civil engineering department.
- Experience in the design of substation and/or control room buildings within the Oil & Gas sectors is preferred.
- Proficiency in using STAAD is essential.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.

**Responsibilities**:
The Senior Civil Structural Engineer will be responsible for a range of static engineering activities within the Oil & Gas sector. Working closely with project teams, the engineer will contribute to the design, analysis, and preparation of construction-related documents. This role requires expertise in structural design, familiarity with relevant software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare Design Basis Memoranda to establish project requirements and design parameters.
- Develop foundation designs for equipment, buildings, and shelters in compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Perform analysis and design of pipe racks, equipment supporting structures, shelters, etc., ensuring structural integrity and safety.
- Design connections and prepare detailed drawings for structural components.
- Generate Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and fabrication drawings to support procurement and construction activities.
- Provide engineering support during the construction phase, including reviewing fabrication drawings and addressing site queries.
- Design scaffolding and temporary facilities to facilitate construction activities in accordance with safety standards and project requirements.
- Utilize software tools such as STAAD Pro V8i, Excel Sheets, Math 3D Foundation, Ram Connections, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for static design and modeling.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure project objectives are met effectively.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in Civil engineering, with a focus on structural design within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive engineering documents and drawings.
- Familiarity with construction practices and safety regulations in the Oil & Gas sector.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: QAR16,000.00 - QAR22,000.00 per month
