**About the role**

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Manager to join our dynamic Network Planning team.

This is a high-impact strategic role responsible for driving transformational initiatives that shape the future of Qatar Airways’ global network. As Senior Manager Corporate Planning, you will lead cross-functional efforts to enhance network profitability, optimize resource allocation, and strengthen the airline’s competitive positioning. You will be at the forefront of identifying performance opportunities, crafting data-driven strategies, and delivering sustainable business outcomes through close collaboration with Commercial, Revenue Management, Finance, and Operational teams.

By centralizing strategic planning initiatives and embedding rigorous performance management practices, you will play a pivotal role in delivering long-term value and supporting the airline’s continued growth.

Specific responsibilities of role will include:

- Identifies growth opportunities in existing markets and coordinate profit maximizing measures with Commercial and Financial stakeholders.
- Explore and recommend different initiatives and action to protect and enhance route profitability.
- Manage a disciplined route performance management which is critical as the airline continues its rapid expansion.
- Contribute to improving overall network profitability by ensuring each route reaches its full revenue and margin potential.
- Works and collaborates closely with different stakeholders across Network Planning, Revenue Management, Sales, CBI, Global Sales, Commercial Marketing, Digital, Partnerships, Cargo, and Finance. You will lead the collaboration, ensuring QR adopts a proactive rather than reactive approach to performance issues.
- Establish and maintains a stable and optimized route structure that will support QR’s broader strategic objectives.
- Ensure that new and existing routes are continuously evaluated and optimized—supporting long-term network sustainability and mitigating the risk of route suspensions.
- Establish the Teams objectives and priorities to align with and support business objectives.
- Regularly evaluate the Teams objectives, plan, procedure and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
- Maintain quality control over all network planning business cases.
- To be committed and contribute to the National talent development, by coaching the national developees, preparing them for a career with boundless potential.

**Qualifications**

**About you**
- Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent with overall 10+ years of job-related experience in Network Planning, out of which 5 years in management level role.
- Highly experience Network Planning professional
- Strong business acumen.
- Excellent analytical capabilities.
- Knowledge of project management techniques and has led or manage projects.
- Strong understanding of Airline industry and stakeholder management, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong managerial and leadership skills - ability to allocate work, set clear direction and manage workflow.
- Highly engaged and motivated
- Thrives in fast-paced environments, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Excellent communication skills
