Senior Planning Engineer

**30856 - SENIOR PLANNING ENGINEER**

At **Eni**, we are looking for a **Senior Planning Engineer**within our Branch in **Qatar**. You will be conducting planning and execution interface support for Drilling and Completions (D&C) operations in the North Field and onshore, including rig schedule management, business reporting management and wells delivery performance monitoring, contributing to seamless project execution and alignment with strategic objectives. You will also support the stewardship of the Project Interface performance and optimization processes, supporting other team members with less experience in Project Interface, to improve project execution and alignment with strategic objectives.

**As a member of the Development Planning Department, you will be responsible for**:

- Providing D&C planning level expertise for front end project/well(s) planning, preparing and stewarding D&C’s Near Term Rig Schedule (NTRS) and Long Term Rig Schedule (LTRS) processes, producing rig schedule sensitivities and resolving stakeholder re-alignment with the same.
- Managing the identification of rig move requirements and scheduling aspects, including liaison with D&C operations, in order to support rig move execution and jacket Care, Custody and Control (CCC) handover process from D&C to PMT.
- Participating on behalf of D&C in Upstream Gas Production (UGP) Planning meetings, providing D&C’s relevant scope for schedule inputs and supporting conflict resolution as required.
- Coordinating D&C input into the Major Projects Integrated Schedules, ensuring alignment and timely updates across all relevant stakeholders.
- Liaising with D&C to confirm rig schedule for Work Program & Budget, contributing to the accuracy and alignment with project timelines and financial plans.
- Supporting the project level D&C interfaces with shareholders and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, priorities, designs and schedules.
- Stewarding D&C specific deliverables for internal and external business reports (TechCom/Excom/SC/OpCom/Board (for all active Projects), D&C updates to CSO and shareholder reports, contributing to informed decision-making and maintaining transparency with stakeholders.
- Supervising and monitoring D&C’s Wells Delivery performance metrics for all active projects, ensuring alignment with Group level KPIs and Corporate level KPIs.
- Supporting the stewardship of the Project Interface performance and optimization processes such as performance reports, business controls and continuous improvement, to enhance project efficiency.
- Enhancing Development Planning (DP) organizational capability, providing mentorship and guidance for Nationals, other Direct Hires and Secondees with less experience in rig operations.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Extensive relevant drilling and/or completions engineering working experience; preference for experience in offshore drilling, extended reach drilling and drilling experience in carbonate reservoirs.
- Commitment to safe, environmentally sound well construction. Experience with H2S well designs and safety practices.
- Experience in leadership role (formal or informal).
- Fluent in English (demonstrated verbal and written skills).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
