We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Operations Team in Qatar, Middle East.

The main purpose of the role will be to support Operations on/Offshore as required, manager major projects.

Main responsibilities
- Ensure client RFQ’s are completed, and proposals submitted in a timely manner
- Project costs management/budgeting/costs estimations
- Engage in client meetings as required pre/during/post SoW
- Support Operations and Engineering team with service SoW onshore and offshore - Mechanical/Hydraulic troubleshooting and corrective maintenance as per client requirements
- Supervise Junior Engineers Onshore/Offshore
- Review client technical documents/drawings/certification
- Complete Job Packs - JSA/TBT/Lift Plans (Non-complex)
- Take part in Toolbox Talks to advance operations efficiencies and safety improvements within the team
- Promote company HSEQ within the Team
- Engage in and complete in-house competence modules in conjunction with plan and agreed OTL/GM
- Any and all other tasks as required and instructed by OTL/GM

HSEQ responsibilities
- It is mandatory that the incumbent is familiar with the Company's HSEQ Policy and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Sparrows Integrated Management System. The incumbent must report any incidents, near misses, actual or potential problems with products, services or systems to their Line Manager.
- The incumbent also has legal responsibilities under country-specific health and safety legislation to follow all Company processes and procedures and familiarise themselves with the emergency response arrangements applicable to them. The incumbent is also responsible for the health and safety arrangements of subordinates (if any) and for any persons visiting them while on the Company premises.

Qualifications and experience
- Mechanical Engineering degree
- Demonstrated Oil and Gas experience minimum 5 years
- Demonstrated experience of handling major projects in the Oil and Gas Industry
- Excellent communications skills
- Qatar driving licence preferred
