**Associate Highway Design Engineer**

**Qatar**

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Associate Highway Design Engineer**to join our team In this role you will get to work on projects that change the fabric of our community.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

The Associate Highway Design Engineer will provide support to project design civil engineering services such as preparation of project study reports, project reports, geometric approval drawings, plans, specifications and estimates.
- Design horizontal and vertical roadway alignments and super elevation diagrams.
- Perform quantity calculations project estimates.
- Managing Associate Engineers in completing project deliverables.
- Develop details to construction, detour, signing & marking.
- Coordinate with project team and interdisciplinary technical personnel.
- Assists the senior staff in completing the project deliverables.
- Provide support for other engineering activities as required.
- Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

**What Required Skills You’ll Bring**
- Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university and minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience in the field of highway and roadway design using Autodesk Civil3D, Microstation and GeoPak design software. Fresh graduates are also open to apply.
- A thorough working knowledge of AASHTO design guidelines is required.
- Roadway & Highway design experience in Qatar projects.
- Geometric alignments design
- Must be MME certified or eligible.
- Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal and have experience in composing correspondence related to his responsibilities.
