As a Procurement Officer at Grade One Furniture, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that materials and goods are sourced in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will work closely with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the continued success of our business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify and select suppliers for materials and products required by the company.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers to ensure favorable conditions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while identifying new opportunities.
- Coordinate with various internal departments to determine procurement needs and ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor market trends and product availability to stay informed of industry changes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventory levels.
- Manage budgets and ensure procurement activities are carried out within budgetary constraints.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, ideally within the furniture or manufacturing sector.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with vendors.
- Good understanding of market trends, sourcing strategies, and supply chain processes.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
