Sports medicine is a rapidly evolving, rich and rewarding multidisciplinary specialty which involves the care of athletes and active individuals. The Sports Physician provides a comprehensive service, from initial patient contact to formulating individual recommendations for sports and exercise participation, for those with injuries and medical conditions whilst working as part of a multidisciplinary team

**Role Description**:
Aspetar’s Sports Medicine fellowship program was established in 2012; we have state-of-the art facilities and equipment and a large multidisciplinary team providing a unique opportunity for a Clinical Specialist Fellow in Sports Medicine to gain further clinical experience. The Fellow will develop a comprehensive range of sports medicine clinical skills, being exposed to a variety of athletes from different sporting codes, disciplines, ages, levels of participation, gender and ethnicity.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES**:
Working in a multidisciplinary and unique multicultural environment, the Clinical Specialist Fellowship program includes educational and research opportunities as well as ongoing clinical mentorship to support well-rounded clinicians and future leaders in the field of sports medicine.

**Education and Experience**:
Applicants must be registered specialists in Sport and Exercise Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or Family Medicine, and eligible to be licensed to practice as a specialist in Qatar.
