Senior Manager Corporate Security

**About the Role**: As the Senior Manager Corporate Security, you will lead the Corporate Security Team within the Qatar Airways Group Security Department. You will ensure compliance with Qatar Airways security standards whilst protecting company personnel, equipment, and infrastructure. You will also manage security investigations, implement effective security controls to prevent criminal acts, and be accountable for the oversight and resolution of all corporate security-related incidents. **Strategic Level**: - You will develop goals for the Corporate Security team in line with the business plan on an annual basis and ensure they are met. - You will form a center of excellence for the security management of workplaces and staff accommodation, ensuring that these environments are safe for staff and visitors together with protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of equipment, data, and information. - You will be required to develop and implement security projects and strategies, aimed at preventing corporate security incidents. - You will foster and promote security awareness, monitor security events, and trends within the industry and provide support to decision making. - You will manage the development and implementation of policies, standards, and procedures, to ensure the ongoing maintenance of corporate security for the Qatar Airways group **Operational Level**: - You will oversee the management of multiple manned guarding contracts, with teams at a range of facilities across Doha. - You will manage and play an active part of a 24/7 capability, able to attend incidents and provide support and guidance to your teams, senior managers and other internal customers on Corporate Security related issues. - You will liaise with both internal customers and law enforcement agencies regarding matters such as security incidents, CCTV requirements and monitoring, facility access control, and security investigations. - You will be involved in planning and overseeing physical security control projects in support of the Qatar Airways Group, both in Doha and globally. - You will represent the Group Security Department at capital projects meetings, ensuring that the security of company facilities remains high on the agenda during planning and implementation phases. - You will oversee the Group Security Investigations team. **Management Level**: - You will manage direct reports and oversee the Corporate Security team, ensuring administration is consistent with the rules and regulations of Qatar Airways as well as Group Security directives and procedures. - You will establish the team’s objectives and priorities to align with and support business plans. - You will direct daily activities, recruit, train, and develop your teams to ensure a high standard of service delivery. Together, everything is possible **Qualifications**: **About You**: - A bachelor's degree or equivalent with security management qualifications. - A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a similar role and strong experience in the management of security facilities contracts. - Strong experience in conducting physical security risk surveys and assessments. - Strong experience in criminal law and conducting security investigations. - Excellent management skills with a proven ability to successfully train and develop teams to ensure a high standard of service delivery. - Excellent report writing skills with high proficiency in written English. - Excellent analytical skills. - A pragmatic ‘can do" attitude and the willingness to lead your teams from the front. - Sound knowledge of CCTV and access control systems. - Criminal investigation training and experience. - Previous corporate security experience.
