**Summary**

The Curtain Making Supervisor will oversee the production of curtains and window treatments, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and timely delivery to our clients. The Curtain Making Supervisor will lead a team of curtain makers, coordinating their work to meet production schedules and uphold our standards of excellence.

The Curtain Making Supervisor will also be responsible for traveling to different sites and locations to liaise with clients as needed and should always maintain good customer relations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of curtain makers in the production of curtains and window treatments.
- Interpret customer specifications and design requirements to create custom curtains.
- Ensure accurate measurement, cutting, and sewing of fabrics according to design specifications.
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency, ensuring they meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Train and mentor curtain makers to improve their skills and productivity.
- Collaborate with sales and design teams to understand client preferences and project requirements.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and serve as the primary point of contact for communication, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and resolving concerns effectively.
- Travel to various sites and locations as required to oversee work progress, and to liaise with the clients.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workforce and resources to meet deadlines.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Curtain Making Supervisor or similar role in the interior design or soft furnishings industry.
- In-depth knowledge of curtain making techniques, fabrics, and sewing methods.
- Ability to read and interpret design sketches, measurements, and technical specifications.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Attention to detail and quality, ensuring finished products meet high standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in têxtile and sewing operations.
- Certification or formal training in curtain making, sewing, or interior design is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in têxtiles or design is a plus.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Curtain Making: 10 years (required)
- Supervisory: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Qatar driving license (required)
