**Job Summary**

To provide overall legal expertise and support on legal issues relating to the functions, structures and activities of the Group and support management on issues pertaining to legal and regulatory framework and monitor compliance with legal and regulatory corporate governance requirements.

**Specific Accountabilities**:
**LEGAL**
- Provide Legal advice to the Top Management on all legal matters that may arise in Group’s operations.
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts on behalf of the organization’s ventures, and ensure that requisite corporate governance procedures are met with respect to contractual arrangements.
- Vetting of contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
- Following up on cases filed against the Group's companies and preparation of legal reports and opinions.
- Liaising with external lawyers and courts on all cases filed against companies to ensure instructions, witness and statements are procured on time.
- Developing, implementing and reviewing legal policies and procedures to ensure that they are in accord with existing legislation.
- Providing of day to day legal and regulatory support to the functional areas covering general compliance queries and reviews; and carry out any other duties as required.

**PUBLIC RELATIONS**
- Process, submits and follow up all the company official relations/ transactions with the government sectors.
- To liaise with authorities to ensure Company compliance to local laws and regulations.
- To process local amendments in coordination with the authorities.
- To keep updated on labor related changes in relation to visa processing.
- Support any legal issues in Company registrations.
- Liaise with all government institution with regards fines, penalties or any inquiry.

**Required Qualification**:

- Must have a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB)
- Master’s degree in any of the following fields; Law, Business Administration, Public Administration, is an advantage.

**Required Experience**:

- At least 5 years’ experience and commercial knowledge in Private sector in Qatar.
- Able to demonstrate excellent communication and drafting skills in English and Arabic language.
- Strong negotiation skills, with extensive experience of negotiating commercial agreements.
- Able to work independently with little or no supervision, with the ability to manage and prioritize workload.
