**Job Description** Accounting Supervisor**

This position is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. This role involves managing a team of accounting professionals, coordinating financial activities, and providing strategic guidance to support the organization's financial goals.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation of accounts and journal entries.
- Analyze variances between actual results and budgeted/forecasted amounts, providing explanations and recommendations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits, providing documentation and addressing audit findings.
- Implement best practices in financial management and reporting to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development within the department.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across teams.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
