Job Title**:Head Baker / Head Bakery Chef**

We are seeking a highly skilled and **VERY CREATIVE** Head Baker to join our culinary team. As an Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our bakery department, including menu development, production, and presentation of pastries and baked goods. You will work closely with the executive chef and management team to ensure exceptional quality and consistency in all pastry offerings.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and develop innovative and enticing bakery menus that align with our culinary vision and customer preferences.
- Oversee the production of all baked goods, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency.
- Lead and manage a team of bakery cooks and assistants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of bakery ingredients, supplies, and equipment, ensuring timely ordering and minimizing waste.
- Conduct regular tastings and inspections to ensure that all baked goods meet our high standards of taste, presentation, and freshness.
- Implement cost-effective measures and portion control to maximize profitability while maintaining quality.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized pastry kitchen.
- Collaborate with the executive chef and culinary team to create harmonious menus and coordinate bakery offerings with other food and beverage departments.
- Stay up-to-date with current bakery trends, techniques, and ingredients, incorporating them into menu development to provide a unique and memorable dining experience.
- Interact with guests, addressing any inquiries or special requests, and actively seeking feedback to continuously improve our bakery offerings.

**Requirements**:

- Strong creative abilities to develop unique and visually appealing bakery creations.
- A degree or diploma in bakery arts or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Head Bakery Chef or similar leadership role in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or hotel.
- Exceptional skills in all bakery preparation, with expertise in various techniques.
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precision and consistency in bakery production.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, management, and guests.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
