**JOB DESCRIPTION**

You’ll manage the financial performance of utility‑scale solar PV projects from initiation to close‑out. Working closely with Project Managers, Finance, Procurement, and engineers, you'll develop and monitor budgets, analyze cost variances, and deliver timely reporting to drive fiscal discipline and cost efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop project cost control systems and procedures; enhance tools for planning, forecasting & reporting
- Establish and maintain WBS-based budgets during project initiation
- Monitor commitments and spend; ensure correct allocation and coding.
- Execute Management of Change: integrate approved change orders into forecasts & contingency
- Support monthly cost forecasting and CAPEX/DEVEX tracking alongside Finance
- Prepare and issue monthly cost performance reports, variance analysis & cost‑to‑complete.
- Liaise with Procurement to evaluate supplier pricing, invoice matching and optimize purchasing
- Oversee cash flow forecasts, accruals and VOWD reporting
- Ensure cost‐as‐built data is entered correctly to support commissioning & handover
- Identify risks & opportunities; recommend cost improvements and mitigation.
- Act as financial partner during project and change control meetings.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial standards and audit readiness.
- Conduct internal quality audits and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IEC, UL, NEC, local regulations, and company QA/QC policies.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- **Bachelor’s degree** in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business, or related.
- **5+ years** of cost control experience, ideally in construction or solar P&V projects; utility‐scale solar EPC background is a strong plus

**Preferred Skills**
- Familiarity with ERP and PM software: SAP, NetSuite, Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, Power BI, etc.
- Strong Excel skills and ability to create dashboards and financial models.
- Professional certifications (PMP, AACE, CIMA, ACCA, CAPM) preferred
- Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and operate independently under tight deadlines.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
