**We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Proposal Engineer to join our Electrification & Automation team in Qatar. This role focuses on project proposals for Low Voltage (LV) Systems and Protection & Automation Systems, supporting the full sales lifecycle and driving strategic growth initiatives.**

**_Your Role - International, Challenging, and Future-Oriented _**

As a Proposal Engineer, you will be responsible for the preparation, evaluation, and submission of technically and commercially compliant offers. Your key responsibilities include:

- Reviewing customer specifications and**ensuring technical compliance in coordination with stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, Customer).
- Preparing configurations using **SIMARIS Configurator, NX-Tools+, and OGT (experience preferred)**.
- Managing end-to-end proposal and contract processes, including evaluating the impact of changes in requirements, costs, and delivery schedules.
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies to address project-specific risks.
- Ensuring adherence to defined business processes and quality standards.
- Building and maintaining **strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders**, including Siemens factories.
- Collaborating closely with Sales, Business Administration, and Project Execution teams to enhance proposal quality and win rate.
- Supporting and driving sales strategies and business development initiatives across the region.

**_Your Qualifications - What You Bring _**
- Bachelor’s degree in** electrical engineering or a related field** from a recognized university.
- Proven **experience (multiple years)** in a similar proposal or technical engineering role within the Low Voltage Switchgear domain.
- In-depth understanding of **Electrical Networks in Power Distribution, with emphasis on Low Voltage systems**.
- Hands-on experience **handling technical specifications from diverse sectors**: Utilities, Industries, Infrastructure, and Oil & Gas—both direct clients and EPC contractors.
- Strong knowledge of **competitors and customer landscape** in the LV switchgear segment.
- Commercial and technical acumen, with the ability to craft compelling proposals that meet client requirements.
- Excellent **communication skills**, with a mature and professional demeanor.
- **Self-motivated and target-driven** with a passion for growth and innovation.
- A strong team player, adaptable to multicultural work environments.
- Familiarity with **the Middle East market, especially the Qatar region**, is highly desirable.
