The SM & PR Manager is responsible for building and maintaining a positive public image for the company, with sufficient exposure to promote high awareness and affinity with all stakeholders.
- **Strategy and Events**
- Develop and implement yearly strategy and events calendar
- **Media Relations**:

- Establish and maintain relationships with media, consumers, and interest groups
- Oversee media queries and press releases to promote company initiatives
- Brief, coordinate and manage the quality of service from the PR agency
- Review media reports and recommend ways to grow nonpaying media coverage over time
- Oversee media events with third party agency and suppliers
- **Social PR**:

- Plan and direct social media strategies with PR agencies
- Identify key messages and coach spokesperson for effective communication
- **Social Media Management**
- Plan and direct social media strategies with PR agencies
- Identify key messages and coach spokesperson for effective communication
- Brief, coordinate and manage the quality of service from the Social Media content creating agency
- Conduct Social Listening and review of social sentiments for the brand
- **Show Script and Publications**
- Review and approve weekly show script
- Prepare and edit all company publications
- **Marketing Collaboration**:

- Work with Marketing for promotional materials
- Plan and coordinate winner events
- **Reporting**
- Manage all periodical reporting from the agency
- **Role Requirements**:

- Minimum 10+ years’ experience working either in PR agencies and social media agencies or have experience of working with brands managing their PR and social media initiatives
- Prior experience of working within monetary draw-based business within the region
- In-depth knowledge of reputation management across media channels and social media
- Experience of working with social media listening tools and creating insightful reports
- Well-experienced in managing digital social content
- Established media relations and contacts
- Relevant degree in mass communications
- Good interpersonal and networking skills
- Well versed in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work successfully with teams, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- PR: 10 years (preferred)
