**Department**
FIELD OPERATIONS (IDD EL-SHARGI)

**Primary purpose of job**:

- Appointed as the Principle Senior Authorized Electrical Person, while on duty ensures compliance with corporate Electrical
Standing Instructions.
- Electrical Equipment at PS-1 Complex ranges up to 6.6kV (High Voltage) system supplying power to PS-1 field. Inspect

completed installations to ensure compliance to Design and Equipment Specifications.
- Participate in pre-commissioning, Commissioning & Site Acceptance Test to ensure Compliance with Operational and

Safety standards.
- Provide support to domestic maintenance supervisor. Supervise and lead the electrical team.

**Experience & Skills**:

- At least 8 years varied power generation, installation, maintenance and repair experience on similar electrical equipment

and associated systems in the petrochemical industry.
- Good knowledge of maintenance of electrical equipment in petroleum production facilities and in English, both written and

understanding technical manuals and drawings is essential.
- Will be expected to achieve HV-AEP and SAEP certification within one year of joining.
- Self-starter with a strong desire to deliver superior results.
- Direct supervision and management of electricians in maintenance, installation, and / or construction activities related to

all major PS1 electrical activities.
- Knowledge in arc flash hazards & Hazardous area equipment maintenance.
- Conversant with Station Emergency and Operating Procedures and all relevant Statutory Regulations; be aware of and

adhere to such regulations to develop a safe and efficient working environment.
** Education**
B.Sc. in a relevant Engineering discipline with an aptitude for understanding drawings, P&ID’s and cause and effects of
complex electrical control, distribution and network systems.
