Senior Instrument and Control System Engineer- Oil

**Job Title**: Senior Instrument & Control System Engineer - Oil & Gas

**Location**: Qatar

**Salary**: QAR 17,000 - 19,000 (All-Inclusive, depending on qualifications, skills, and experience)

**Contract Duration**: 24 Months (Extendable)

**Working Days**: 6 Days per week
**Working Hours**: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform and oversee Instrumentation & Control system engineering for FEED and Detailed Engineering projects.
- Review and ensure compliance of all I&C deliverables with QatarEnergy, Shell DEP, and relevant international standards.
- Interpret and work with **process plant P&IDs** for instrumentation design and development.
- Provide technical input on systems such as **DCS, PLC, RTU, SCADA, SIS, F&G, WHCP**, and related equipment.
- Review vendor deliverables, vendor packages, and ensure technical correctness.
- Prepare and review **Material Requisitions (MRs), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs), and Technical Queries (TQs)**.
- Support and participate in **IPF classification and SIL assessments**.
- Supervise, guide, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- **Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering** from an accredited university.
- **10+ years of relevant experience** in FEED and detailed engineering for Oil & Gas projects, including offshore.
- At least **5 years of experience in detailed design engineering of brownfield offshore modifications**.
- Minimum **3 years of experience as a Senior Discipline Engineer**.
- In-depth knowledge of instrumentation practices, industry codes, standards, and tools.
- Strong knowledge of process plant P&IDs.
- Proven experience in vendor deliverables review, MRs, TBEs, and TQs.
- Exposure to IPF classification and SIL assessment preferred.
