RAS LAFFAN PORT

**Primary purpose of job**
1. Direct safe and efficient marine operations in the port.

2. Lead marine emergency operations in coordination with other responding entities

**Experience & Skills**:

- At least 15 years varied experience within the shipping industry; of which minimum 10 years foreign going sea experience,

preferably in oil tankers.
- At least 5 years’ experience as marine pilot.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- At least 5 years managerial experience in Maritime/Ports industries.
- Extensive knowledge and demonstratable understanding of Pilotage and Towage Operations, and maritime safety, risks

management and incident investigation.

**Education**:

- Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Master Mariner) or recognized Marine Operations Degree.
