**Job Title: Electrical/Instrument Inspector**

**Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar**

**Job Summary**:
The Electrical/Instrument Inspector will be responsible for overseeing and executing inspection activities related to electrical and instrumentation systems during all project phases including procurement, fabrication, installation, hook-up, and commissioning. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards within oil and gas production facilities, especially onshore gas and LNG projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement QA/QC activities in accordance with approved QCPs, ITPs, procedures, method statements, and contract documents.
- Inspect subcontractors’ work and verify compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and project requirements.
- Review and sign off on quality surveillance, inspection, and testing records.
- Ensure the use of up-to-date versions of project documentation (e.g., AFC drawings and specifications).
- Provide daily feedback and reports to the Quality Manager/Engineer on quality-related issues.
- Support commissioning and start-up teams in verifying readiness of electrical and instrumentation systems.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Trade Certification in Electrical and/or Instrumentation.
- Minimum of **8 years** of relevant inspection experience in the oil & gas industry, with **at least 5 years** in onshore gas facilities, preferably in LNG projects.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical and instrumentation codes and standards such as IEC, NEC, NFPA, BS, NEMA, NETA, ATEX, IECEx-60079, etc.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems and their inspection requirements.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and international codes.
- Sound knowledge of QA/QC procedures and documentation.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Proactive in identifying and solving quality issues.
