Additionally, the postdoctoral fellow will be working across a variety of projects, and their primary responsibilities project-wise will be matched to their expertise. The position requires significant leadership spirit and management skills, as the research fellows will be assigned project work-packages management under guidance of the Project Lead PI and PIs. The work duties are conducted in English, although knowledge of Arabic is an advantage. This position is available for a duration of two to three years, with probation in the first year.

Essential Functions

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

- Perform research design
- Lead data collection at home institution
- Lead a data analysis
- Preparing manuscripts for conferences and journals.
- Attending professional conferences and meetings.
- Mange and assist curricular development tasks
- Assist in faculty professional development programs design and delivery related to the project
- Mange project and grant logistics.
- Preparing proposals for internal and external funding.
- Any other assigned tasks and duties

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Degree qualifications
- For Research Assistant: BSc degree in relevant field
- For Postdoc: Ph.D. or Ed.D. required in Entrepreneurship Education, Technology Entrepreneurship, Engineering or STEM Education, Educational Research, Innovation Management, Business Administration, Social Studies, or closely related field. PhD in STEM domain with demonstrated educational research methods and educational research published work can be considered as well.
- Experience with grant writing for either internal or external funding.
- Knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, including techniques unique to mixed methods.
- Experience with survey construction and validation.
- Experience teaching using evidence-based teaching practices.
- Experience with teaching-related professional development.
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the literature in engineering education, higher education, or educational research methods.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work and collaborate effectively with students, faculty, and staff from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.
