The opportunity

Project: This is a conceptualised villages project in the heart and outskirts of Doha.

We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking programme director to join our established and growing team in Qatar.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Delivering the strategy of the programme through the creation of the right interfaces and interactions.
- Ensuring adequate and appropriate resources for the programme.
- Ensuring effective communication through the programme and through good stakeholder management.
- Facilitating the translation of strategy into planning and delivery across the programme.
- Ensuring appropriate, accurate financial management and control for all projects.
- Complying with all protocols, policies and procedures in relation to all staff-related matters.
- Promoting continuously and making an influence of a positive safety culture.
- Providing a coherent report performance against the plan to the client and regional management.
- Acting as the public face of the programme to external stakeholders.
- Chairing executive steering group meetings.
- Providing leadership to balance value, quality, time and cost drives in order to optimise the programme.
- Directing, inspiring, motivating and encouraging a high performing team environment.
- Engaging with HR on all aspects of recruitment and personnel management.

About you

You will have a relevant degree qualification and be a member of a professional body. You have experience as a programme director.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have experience delivering projects from start through to completion within a consultancy industry and be poised to expand your own horizons, those of our clients and of our ambitious people alike. You have a construction or cost consultancy project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
