**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Surface Preparation**:

- Utilize sand blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces, removing rust, old paint, and debris for optimal adhesion of new coatings.
- Inspect surfaces to ensure they are properly prepared before painting.
- **Spray Painting**:

- Adjust equipment settings to achieve the desired finish and coverage based on project specifications.
- **Quality Control**:

- Perform quality checks on painted surfaces to ensure consistency and adherence to project standards.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:

- Clean and maintain spray painting and sand blasting equipment after use to ensure longevity and reliability.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during operations.
- Comply with environmental and safety regulations related to the use and disposal of paints, solvents, and blasting materials.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Communicate effectively regarding project progress and any issues that arise during the work process.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in spray painting and sand blasting in an industrial or construction setting.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and proper handling of hazardous materials.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and project specifications.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and adjust techniques as needed.

**Additional Requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training in painting, finishing, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including potential overtime or shifts as needed.
