About the role

Qatar Airways Holidays (QRH) are the leisure travel brand of Qatar Airways, one of the world’s leading airlines. Utilizing the extensive network of Qatar Airways, QRH work with global hotel brands, destination management companies, and bed-banks to create bespoke holiday and tour packages for multiple global markets.

QRH also work closely with internal departments such Revenue Management, QR Sponsorships, Discover Qatar, and Privilege Club among others, to promote and sell packages for global sponsored events and for holidays in ‘Destination Doha’.

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible to create and deliver the products and pricing strategy and lead the QRH products team. You will develop and maintain a product portfolio that addresses the needs of the customer base and QRH distribution channels and contribute to the department’s product-related goals and growth ambition. Other key responsibilities are:

- Responsible for supplier management, including performance, pricing, and service delivery.
- Manage implementation of the supplier strategy for QRH to drive income for the unit and offer a consistently superior customer experience.
- Create innovative and profitable products for specific events.
- Liaise with Marketing, Sales, E-commerce, and Operations to ensure smooth running of all products.
- Responsible for sourcing commitment from internal business units such as Revenue Management, Pricing, IT & Technology and E-commerce
- Responsible for sourcing the product portfolio, including negotiations with suppliers.
- Manage and maintain a profitable margin strategy.
- Develop the product portfolio addressing the needs of today’s discerning customer, new channels and latest trends.
- Liaise with QR Sponsorship team to oversee platform launch, product availability and other product related requirements.
- Work closely with internal and external platform technology providers to ensure availability of product at all times, handling glitches, or coordinating efforts to resolve any major technical issues.
- Establish the department or teams’ objectives, plans, procedures, and practices, and make appropriate changes as required.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team.
- Train and develop employees to ensure succession planning.
- Support the retail and sales units by enhancing the team’s product knowledge.

**Qualifications**:
About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Qatar Airways Holidays Team.
- Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential.
- 7+ years of job-related experience
- Prior experience as Product Manager
- Supplier management experience
- Experience in curating products for multiple channels
- Experience in project management
- Travel industry experience or prior tour operator experience is a definite advantage.
- Willingness to travel to assess potential destination opportunities.
- Intermediate to advanced level of numerical skills to analyze performance.
- Has a good understanding of airline pricing.
- Negotiation skills
