**Job description**

**We are hiring - Happiness Facilitators also known as Swim Coach/Water Safety Instructors at Aqua-Tots Swim School Qatar**

We will train you for a minimum of 50+ hours both Theoretical and In-Water.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Teaching Skills (ability to follow and provide instructions based on a curriculum)
- Proven experience working with children in field of child development (example nursery, teaching assistant, coaching, etc)
- Adaptability & willingness to Learn New Skills (undertaking training updates)
- Sports and fitness enthusiast (ability to coach and teach skills over long period of time)
- Great communication skills, leadership and public relations skills.
- Team player

**Preferred Requirement**:

- Bachelor's Graduate of Physical Education, Exercise and Sports science, Physiology, Kinesiology, Nutrition and Fitness, or Sports Medicine.
- Proven experience working as a swim instructor or lifeguard
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructor or Basic Swim Instructor (BSI) certifications (optional)
- Teaching Skills
- Sports and fitness enthusiast
- Great communication skills, leadership and public relations skills.

**Essential Experience**:

- Requires knowledge of and experience related to teaching in the area of preschool
- Ability to perform the following sensory and communicative functions adequately: hearing and seeing; reading, writing, speaking English fluently and optional can communicate in Arabic or French language.
- With personal commitment to sustaining professional working practices in the workplace at all times including excellent timekeeping and punctuality skills.
- The right aptitude for coaching young children and building relationships with families
- Ability to work as part of a team

**Typical Physical Demands and Working Conditions**:

- **Swim Instructors must**:_
- Observe all areas of the pool with clear vision.
- Hear noises and distress signals in the aquatic environment.
- Communicate effectively with people in normal, loud and stressful situations, including projecting one’s voice across distance.
- Be in water ranging from 31-33 degrees celsius for several hours.
- Support child and/or adult body weight in the water.
- Provide classes with consistent quality over a set amount of hours between breaks
- Maintain a smile and approachable attitude during every class (with students & parents)
- Maintain a consistent level of energy and enthusiasm throughout all classes
- Flexible with scheduled class changes or providing coverage for coaches when necessary

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No more than 48 per week
