Valuation Analyst

Key Responsibilities
:
- Perform business, asset, and investment valuations using recognized valuation methodologies (DCF, comparables, etc.)
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support valuation analysis
- Analyze financial statements, market trends, and industry data to assess value drivers
- Prepare valuation reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
- Support investment decisions, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic planning initiatives
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with finance and strategy teams to gather and validate assumptions
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with valuation standards and best practices
- Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis and corporate finance projects Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Proven experience in valuation, financial analysis, or investment banking roles
- Strong understanding of valuation techniques and corporate finance principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to present complex financial insights clearly and confidently Preferred Skills:
- CFA certification or progress toward CFA designation is an advantage
- Experience in retail, trading, or consumer business sectors
- Familiarity with financial databases and valuation tools
- Strong report writing and presentation skills
