Electrical Supervisor

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure to conduct routine condition monitoring and maintenance of electrical equipment such as EHV GIS MV/LV switch gears, transformers, motors, UPS, Battery banks, DG sets, FW Diesel pump system, Reactor/convertors, protection Relays etc. with critical equipment following the standard maintenance procedures to ascertain that the equipment/system are in good working condition.
- Timely response to PM work orders in accordance to routine maintenance work orders, ascertaining their priority and close-out actions.
- Receive/develop work requests from maintenance planner, attend and respond directly to requests from various departments to facilitate Maintenance.
- Able to work in shifts with multi-disciplinary fields within the maintenance department
- Able to review the electrical drawings such as SLD, logic, Schemes to troubleshoot / fault analysis.
- Responsible for electrical field repair practices for Cable, joints, HT/LT Exd motors, Power and Distribution oil filled and dry type Transformers, Protection Systems, EHV/MV/LV Switch Gears, ATS scheme, MCC, AC/DC UPS with Battery banks, DG sets, VFD, Soft starters, Thyristor panels, Soft-starters, Electrical heaters, lighting/small power, street lighting and temporary power supply systems etc.
- Aware of construction, commissioning, and testing activities such as 220kV, 132kV, 33kV,11kV MV and LV cable installation/testing, Transformers, Motors Installation, Panel assembly and wiring hook-up.
- Assisting to identify and maintain the right and adequate quantity for spare parts and optimizing of spares stock levels
- Managing calibration and testing tool equipment used at site.
- Raising alert/notifications for low inventory and conducting continuous follow-up with supply chain/vendors.
- Ensure all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.

**Job Criteria/Requirements**
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering / Diploma
- Minimum maintenance experience of 8 years for Engineering degree holders and 12 Years for Diploma in Polysilicon, Petrochemical, Oil / Gas or Chemical plants.
- Preferable to be familiar with testing and knowledge on switching operation of equipment falls under GIS 220 kV system with power transformers.
- Preferably authorized by local electricity company for switching and operation of GIS substation
- Awareness of polysilicon reactors and its thyristor panel functioning
- Shall have knowledge and associated with testing team to conduct specialized Hi-Pot, PDA test on GIS EHV and AIS MV switchgears.
- Aware of SAP / similar maintenance tools and its functions for PM, CM and predictive maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge in Electrical Testing, Circuit Trouble Shooting, reviewing electrical schemes, drawings, Diagnose, fault finding techniques and various site repairs/refurbishment.
- Knowledge on programming, setting of Numerical relays preferably SEL, Alstom, ABB / Siemens
- Excellent in review and understands SLD, P&ID, isometrics
- Familiar with IEC, ISA, DIN, IEEE and NFPA Standards. Good knowledge of OSHA requirement for safety regulation.
- Good knowledge on company Standard Permit to Work (PTW) procedure & QA/QC system
- Fully aware of function, calibration of Electrical testing equipment as per ISO/DIN standards.
- Working Understanding of DCS / PLC control system and instrumentation is a plus
