Nurse Educator

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
- Actively participate in activities that promote the professional development program and ongoing education of nurses.
- Assessment of nurses using clinical competencies and Updating staff competency records.
- Develop new and revise existing competency assessment tools based on the learning needs of staff and services.
- Identification and responding to the learning needs of individuals and services in consultation with the nurse, and CCM to support individual learning plans.
- Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the clinical education programs within the organization.
- Collaborates with other external and internal departments in the development and delivery of new or revised education. Aligns training programs with organizational needs and goals to prioritize assignments accordingly.
- Create/provide educational materials (PowerPoint presentation) at SharePoint to be accessed by all staff.
- Participate in the “Performance Improvement Plan” by conducting refresher education/training for staff endorsed by HR and CCM.
- Supports and participates in quality improvement initiatives/plans based on the quality Department recommendation and in organizational accreditation process.
- Performs as a clinical expert/resource to establish, maintain, and improve nursing practice.
- Promotes adherence to facility policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
- Facilitates the implementation of new or revised policies/procedures.
- Maintains records of training programs
- Responsible for maintaining and developing the **Clinical Practice of the nurses by teaching**nursing practice by relevant policies and guidelines and Demonstrating accountability for nursing practice delivered.
- Identify strategies for optimizing patient care in the home care environment based on current research and trends in clinical practice.
- Participate in the development and review of clinical guidelines.
- Participate in relevant committees, meetings, and service activities as required and provide relevant feedback and dissemination of appropriate information Professional Practice and Development
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional development through membership in professional organizations/associations, including relevant participation in special interest groups.
- Act as an effective role model for staff, through mentoring, and teaching in an endeavor to achieve optimal staff development and engagement.
**QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, LICENSE**
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing / Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Nursing / Education.
- At least 2 years in a Senior Clinical Nurse position qualification in appropriate setting (hospital or clinic) With Nursing Education Experience.
- DHP Medical License.

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
