**Responsibilities**
- Implement commercial best practice to maximize value and minimize risk and cost to The Company.
- Support the business in developing and implementing commercial strategies for successfully winning bids and managing post contract activities
- Reviews requests for proposals to identify risks and contractual terms not conforming to Company policy.
- Negotiates the more difficult, complex, or sensitive issues with clients. Provides technical guidance to assigned personnel, and ensures proficiency and timeliness of contract administration.
- Lead or provide commercial support to deliver good P/L results across contracts or bids as applicable.
- Deliver the pre and post Contract opportunity and risk process including mitigation of risk.
- Assertive with an ability to retain a good working relationship with bidding teams and customer.
- Delivering robust commercial solutions in all bids.
- Support in winning strategic bids by use of good commercial strategy and process.
- Support post contract activity by delivering solutions to discrete post contract strategic issues.
- Support mobilization of key contracts commercially with robust processes.
- Develop good strategies for further improving cash flows in this part of the business
- Advanced knowledge and experience within the purchasing/contracting functions.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years proven experience
- BS/MA degree in Finance, Business or related field
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors and identify key risk areas in a contract
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including spelling, grammar, and distillation of RFP-like statements into contractual responsibilities/ legal requirements involved with a contract
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in a professional and timely manner with varying seniority levels, including peers, managers/directors and VP/C-level both internal and external
- Strong ethics, integrity, and values including ability to maintain confidentiality with respect to agreement contents and other highly sensitive business matters and projects required
