Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.

**Job Purpose**:
As an IT Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operation, maintenance, and security of the hotel’s IT infrastructure. This includes troubleshooting hardware/software issues, maintaining networks, and assisting in the implementation of new technologies to enhance the guest experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide first-level IT support to staff and guests
- Maintain and troubleshoot the hotel’s network, servers, POS systems, and telecommunications
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software
- Monitor and maintain data backup systems and IT security protocols
- Support audio-visual systems used in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and common areas
- Collaborate with external vendors for technical support and upgrades
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure timely updates
- Ensure all systems are compliant with hotel policies and data protection standards

**Qualifications & Competencies**:

- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of IT support experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and IT hardware
- Familiarity with hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, MICROS) is an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency issues outside of regular hours
