**PURPOSE**: Responsible for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing wastewater treatment plant operations through the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient functioning of the plant by maintaining continuous oversight of equipment, processes, and alarms while supporting the O&M team in meeting regulatory, safety, and performance standards. **ROLES & RESPOSIBILITIES**: - Controls the operations of the equipment from the SCADA screen. - Provide accurate, customer focused technical advice and support to all stakeholders ensuring system integrity and performance is maintained at all times. - Maintain and update industry knowledge and digital developments to support innovation and ongoing optimization. - Reporting incidents that present or have the potential to represent a loss to the organization. These include occupational injuries / illness, security, environmental incidents and product and severe non-conformances, to prevent recurrences. - Carry out other tasks assigned. **EXPERIENCE**: - Minimum of 5 years experience in the same field. **COMPETENCIES**: - Demonstrated ability to manage SCADA and Controls projects with delivery to time and budget. - Excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Strong technical knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and experience. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. - Exhibit great planning ability and to create an effective timeline for work. - Time management, great planner and take hold of any situation and find a resolution to any conflict before any serious issues arise. - Attention to detail. **EDUCATION**: - Degree/Diploma in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or related field. **OTHERS**:UPDA Certification/To obtain this year **LANGUAGE**:English (written and verbal communication) Pay: From QAR1.00 per month Application Question(s): - Your current location: - Are you willing to relocate to Qatar? - Joining Period: - Can you obtain "NOC"/transfer approval?
