Department

HALUL TERMINAL

Primary purpose of job

Lead a team of contractor civil engineers, QP and Contractor Foremen on Halul Island.

Responsible as the Asset Holder representative for all Civil Engineering Development on Halul island and for the upkeep of

QP Assets related to Civil Engineering including buildings, roads, culverts, bund walls, pipe supports, play fields, laydown

areas, workshops, water distribution network, drainage facilities, etc.

Permit Controller on Halul island for daily “Permit To Work” related to Civil Engineering including buildings, roads etc.

Responsible for all civil maintenance, planning, concept design for minor modifications and small buildings including,

estimation of costs for implementation and any contract preparation assistance for Halul and production stations (PS-2,

PS-3, NFA, ALRAYYAN and FMB.)

Controls and coordinates several routine and non-routine multi-discipline maintenance and operational activities for Halul,

PS-2, PS-3 and South STPs through static plant maintenance and minor mechanical construction.

Experience & Skills

Minimum 15 years of Post graduate experience in civil engineering projects with minimum 5 years of oil & gas experience of

which 2 years must be offshore.
- Clear understanding of engineering basics to develop safe, serviceable, durable, economic, and environmentally

compatible systems and exposure to the technology of engineering management to deliver projects on time and within

budget.
- Strong personality for negotiation and mediation with arbitration background and skills. Ability to solve technical, personal

and administration problems at section level

Education
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Chartered membership of a professional engineering body is an additional asset.
- Technically competent with proven technical writing, communication and presentation ability Literate in relevant design
