**Position: Spare Parts Manager**
**Location: Doha, Qatar**
Manage the inventory of spare parts for a variety of equipment and machinery, ensuring that stock levels are sufficient to meet the needs of the company's operations in the Qatar.
Forecast demand for specific parts based on data and trends, and adjust inventory accordingly to ensure availability.
Purchase spare parts from local and international suppliers, and oversee the receiving and inspection of shipments to ensure that parts are in good condition and of the right specifications.
Organize and label parts inventory to ensure that they can be easily identified and retrieved when needed.
Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure that parts are available for repairs and maintenance as needed, and track usage of parts for cost control purposes.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms to optimize value for the company.
Monitor and control expenses related to spare parts, and implement cost control measures as needed to keep costs within budget.
Ensure that parts meet quality standards, and that suppliers are delivering parts that meet specifications.
Maintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and usage of parts, and prepare reports as needed to support decision-making.
Train and develop staff on parts management and inventory control processes.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in spare parts management or a related field, preferably in Qatar.
- Strong knowledge of spare parts inventory management and control processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English, Arabic language skills would be a plus.
