INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

**Primary purpose of job**
Responsible for leading and executing the strategic roadmap of QatarEnergy’s cloud adoption. Facilitate the cloud

architecture design thinking across throughout QatarEnergy’s ICT department while fostering a culture of continuous cloud

transformation, technology modernization, innovation, and digitalization.

**Experience & Skills**:

- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise IT environment, with least 7 years of demonstrated cloud

technology design and implementation specifically in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS),

Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Data Center as a Service (DCaaS) and/or SAP HANA migration and transformation

with Oil and Gas industry experience is an asset.
- Must have the cloud related professional certifications i.e., Microsoft Azure, Google, AWS & Cloud Security etc.

infrastructure and existing/emerging technologies.

- Excellent working knowledge and exposure of cloud orchestration in enabling the automation for maintenance of certain

areas of cloud infrastructure.
- Possess good understanding of virtualization with the ability to articulate and rationalize the provisioning of virtual

machines efficiently and integrate them with cloud technologies.
- Good understanding on the spectrum of operating systems that available in the complex enterprise cloud ecosystem.

Examples include Windows, Linux, etc.
- Possess good knowledge and ability to design the infrastructure with enterprise data security and identity and access

management requirement.
- Good to have knowledge of big data architecture and design principles.
- Good working knowledge of programming languages including C#, Elixir, Ruby, Python, etc.
- Good experience and exposure of designing business processing model and notation tools.
- Good knowledge in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) on using the code to define the automation of cloud infrastructure.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree (required) and Master’s degree (preferable) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an

appropriate Engineering/Business field.
