Key Responsibilities:

- Develop detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects, accurately forecasting materials, labour, and overhead expenses.
- Review and analyse project plans, specifications, and proposals to identify risks and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers for precise estimation and data gathering.
- Prepare and present comprehensive bid proposals to stakeholders.
- Utilize specialized cost estimation software for efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct market research to determine current material and labor costs, adjusting estimates as necessary.
- Monitor project costs, provide updates to management, and recommend corrective actions.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Participate in project meetings to advise on budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline adjustments.
- Maintain detailed records of estimates and revisions for continuous improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in civil works estimation.
- MMUP/UPDA certification is mandatory.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
