As a Heavy Equipment Hydraulic Mechanic specializing in forklifts, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of hydraulic systems in forklifts and other heavy equipment. This role demands a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Diagnosis and Repair**: Conduct thorough inspections to identify hydraulic system issues in forklifts. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic components such as pumps, cylinders, valves, and hoses.
- **Preventive Maintenance**: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for forklifts to minimize downtime. Perform regular checks and adjustments on hydraulic systems to prevent potential failures.
- **Component Replacement**: Efficiently replace faulty hydraulic components, ensuring that all replacements meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Document all replacement activities for record-keeping purposes.
- **Communication**: Effectively communicate with supervisors and team members regarding the status of repairs, required parts, and potential issues. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Heavy Equipment Hydraulic Mechanic, with a focus on forklifts.
- **Education**: Industrial training certification in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems in forklifts. Familiarity with a variety of forklift brands and models.
- **Problem-solving**: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex hydraulic issues.
- **Communication**: Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- **Team Player**: Ability to collaborate with a diverse team and work cohesively to achieve common goals.

Pay: From QAR2,000.00 per month
