Role Summary
As the Bakery & Pastry Head Chef, you will lead the creative and operational direction of the bakery and pastry kitchen. You will be responsible for curating innovative menus, maintaining the highest quality standards, and managing the team. This role is ideal for a leader with a strong background in artisan baking, fine patisserie, and modern dessert design.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute innovative bakery and pastry menus aligned with the brand vision.
Oversee daily operations of the pastry section.
Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met at all times.
Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory and cost control.
Implement and uphold food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP compliance).
Train and develop staff to enhance skillsets and promote a culture of excellence.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in pastry and bakery, with at least 3 years in a leadership/head chef role.
Strong knowledge of artisanal bread, viennoiserie, plated desserts, and international pastry trends.
Creative flair with a passion for innovation and detail.
Proven leadership and organizational skills in a high-volume environment.
Excellent communication and team management abilities.
